Migration waves in the Federal Republic of Germany between northern and southern states post 1989

The rigorous thesis "Migration waves in the Federal Republic of Germany between northern and southern states post 1989" deals with internal migration and focuses on the citizens of Germany and their movement within the country after 1989. The main area of focus is the depopulation of the northern part of Germany and the related 4 immigration of specific migration groups to one of both southern German states. This rigorous thesis surveys the migration streams in this territory for the period between 1990 and 2008 and analyzes their influence on the demographic changes and transformations of the local socio- economic structure. In the theoretical section, the appropriate basic terms relating to the area of migration research are explained. A concrete survey of migration streams between northern and southern Gemany is introduced in two case studies. The first deals with the northern state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Using this example, the problems of depopulation in the north of Germany are discussed. Whilst considering the importance of these problems, the consequences of migration for this state and the attitude of the local policy surrounding this issue are described. Migration in a small village (The history of centripedal and centrifugal migration forces and the impact on village in 1989-2019: Case study of Jirny)

This paper explores the phenomenon of suburbanization. The paper examines the small village Jirny and the influence of population migration on its evolution. In the theoretical part the paper explains the concept of suburbanization, negative effects of suburbanization and other related concepts. The empirical part describes demographic evolution of the village and specific fields that were or could be effected by the increasing number of new residents. For that purpose the paper chooses case study design and method of framework analysis or triangulation. One of the outcomes is SWOT analysis. Conclusion and recommendation are based on the survey results.
Migration flows in Czech rural area since the 1990s: the analysis of structure and development

1 Abstract The submitted diploma thesis evaluates the migration movements of the population in the rural area of the Czech Republic in the period 1992 and 2018. The aim of the work is to evaluate the modern development of internal migration of rural settlements in terms of the size of migration flows and to determine the main migration directions to and from the Czech countryside. The evaluation of the size and structure of migration flows was based on the analysis of data from a non-public database on internal migration, which contains almost six million cases of intra-state migration for the given period. These data were first aggregated on the basis of the affiliation of the municipality of eviction and the municipality of immigration to rural areas of the administrative districts of municipalities with an authorized municipal office. The results, which are presented in graphical and map form, show that the countryside is gaining population through internal migration. The results of the analysis showed that the situation is very diversed. The highest rates of migration indicators are reported by defined rural administrative districts of municipalities with an authorized municipal office in the vicinity of large cities, primarily Prague, and the lowest in border areas. Integration and everyday life of Italian refugees exiled to Northern Bohemia in the First World War :a microhistorical look at the daily experience of Sannicoló in Jablonné v Podještědí

The purpose of the thesis is to look at the reality of an Italian-speaking refugee during the First World War, when people were forced to evacuate the Trentino region and were moved within the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The thesis will look closely at the diary of an Italian-speaking refugee, starting with his evacuation from Trentino and continuing to his arrival and permanence in the northern Bohemian city of Jablonné v Podještědí. The paper will also explore the internal migration movements and efforts made by the Habsburg Empire, with special regard to the experiences of Italian- speaking refugees. The diary of the man known as Sannicoló will be used to give a microhistorical study and perspective of his move from Rovereto, Italy to the city of Jablonné v Podještědí. His reality as an Italian-speaking refugee and citizen of the Habsburg Empire will be briefly compared with what is generally known of the refugee situation within the Austro-Hungarian Empire and that of other Italian- speaking refugees, to determine the degree of success of his integration into the local population's community. Analyzes of the internal migration of foreigners in the region Ceske Budejovice

The work deals with the analysis of internal migration of foreigners in the South Region. In this work is examined internal migration of three groups of foreigners. These groups are Ukrainians, Slovaks and Vietnamese. In the introductory part of this thesis is described the development of gradual migration of foreigners, their distribution and involvement in internal migration in the Czech Republic. This is followed by describing the South Region. This chapter describes the distribution of foreigners and are mentioned the possible factors that influence the decisions of foreigners. The main part of this thesis is a survey that examines the case of foreigners and their migration history. In this work, the region is defined by areas accessible to the community of České Budějovice and there are investigated differences inside and outside of the region. Thanks to questionnaire research we obtain information about the movement of foreigners as well as the motivation of these movements. Questionnaire survey also found out whether the migratory behavior of foreigners could be sorted into theoretical concepts

Internal Migration in PRC: function, role and impact on Chinese economy

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the process of internal migration in Peoples' Republic of China. It focuses on low-skilled rural migrant workers, their overall characteristics, role in the economy and their status within Chinese society. This analysis aims to prove that despite the fact that rural migrants represent an essential element of Chinese economy, and have contributed by a great deal to China's economic take-off, they are still a very discriminated group of Chinese society and are constantly facing violations of their rights.

Factors influencing the image of India on international level: case study migration

Today, India is one of the fastest growing countries in the world and its economic, political and cultural infulence is going to rise in the near future. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to assess, whether the factor of migration can have an infuelce on India and its role in international relations. The thesis shows main migration features - outlook on Indian emigration from the gain of independence in 1947 until present, Indian internal migration and it also mentions immigration to India.There are also outlined reasons and impacts of migration and main migration actors(migrants, state, international organizations). Indian diaspora is observed too.
